What does the job look like?
As the Site Manager, you will take ownership of both the strategic and operational performance of the site, with a strong focus on leading change and bringing people on the journey across warehouse and transport operations.
You will play a critical role in creating a high-performing, engaged and adaptable workforce, while delivering operational excellence, safety and financial performance. Key areas:
- Lead and embed a strong safety-first culture, aligning with site safety plans and actively engaging teams in risk management and continuous improvement
- Drive people-led change initiatives, building capability and engagement across warehouse and transport teams
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of customer outcomes
- Set and execute the strategic direction of the site, balancing operational priorities with continuous improvement opportunities
- Oversee labour, cost and resource management to achieve financial targets and operational efficiency
- Partner closely with customers and key stakeholders to deliver service excellence and strengthen long-term relationships
- Champion operational improvements and systems adoption, ensuring teams are supported and brought along the journey
Are you the one?
You are a people-first leader with experience leading operational teams through change in a fast-paced logistics environment. You bring strong influencing capability, a collaborative mindset and the ability to engage, inspire and uplift teams.
You can demonstrate:
- Experience leading warehouse and transport operations, with a strong focus on team engagement and performance
- Proven ability to lead change initiatives, bringing teams on the journey and embedding sustainable improvements
- Strong people leadership capability, including coaching, development and driving a positive team culture
- Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, labour and operational performance
- Sound understanding of workplace legislation, safety and industrial relations, with the ability to lead through complex environments
- Experience working with customers and senior stakeholders, delivering clear communication and strong service outcomes
