What does the job look like?

Linfoxs' Intermodal business unit have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Supervisor located in Acacia Ridge, QLD. In your new role, you will lead our administration team for our Queensland Intermodal network, ensuring customer orders are accurately processed from order to delivery. You will bring your strong people leadership skills, driver operational excellence through real-time system accuracy, cost control and continuous improvement. 

This is a 12-month max-term contract opportunity, working Monday - Friday starting at 8:00am - 4pm. Key areas: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day freight processing function for inbound and outbound deliveries across the Queensland team
  • Provide strong leadership and support our administration team to ensure timely and accurate entry of operational data into systems
  • Deliver accurate cost capture and revenue allocation to support subcontractor payments and billing outcomes
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align processing with real-time network activity
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and efficiencies 
  • Manage team rostering, performance, and workload to ensure service delivery standards are consistently met

Are you the one?

You are an experienced people leader within the Transport/Logistics industry, with strong organisational capability and a sharp focus on accuracy, process improvement, and team performance. You can demonstrate:
  • Prior experience leading Administration teams within the transport/logistics industry, rail exposure would be advantageous
  • Strong system capability with confidence to work across multiple systems including Excel and Transport Management Systems (e.g. Translogics/Safire/Wave)
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, cost capture, and reporting integrity
  • Experience driving process improvement initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to work collaboratively with rail operations, finance and commercial teams
