What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to join our team full time at the Linfox Global Head Office in Essendon Fields. This is an onsite role supporting internal staff and VIP travellers across the business.

This role is strictly for experienced Travel Consultants. Applicants must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Travel Consultant role. 

This opportunity is ideal for experienced retail travel consultants looking to transition into corporate travel. You will move away from high-volume retail sales into a professional corporate environment, managing travel requirements for Linfox employees, leaders, and VIP stakeholders.

Reporting to the Travel Team Leader, you will act as the first point of contact for all travel requests, ensuring a high level of service, accuracy, and professionalism across both domestic and international bookings. This is a customer-focused role where responsiveness and attention to detail are critical.

Key areas include:

• Participating in daily travel team meetings
• Managing domestic and international travel bookings in line with company policy
• Coordinating travel for internal staff and VIP travellers
• Preparing travel quotations and itineraries
• Maintaining relationships with airlines, hotels, and travel partners
• Processing ticketing, changes, and refunds
• Providing after-hours emergency support on a rostered basis
• Managing approvals for itinerary changes
• General administrative support and reporting
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Are you the one?

You are an experienced travel professional looking to take the next step into corporate travel. You bring strong systems knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in travel consulting, ideally within retail or corporate environments
• Experience using GDS platforms such as Galileo (Travelport), Sabre, Amadeus, or similar systems
• Strong understanding of airline fares, ticketing, and travel booking processes
• Ability to manage complex domestic and international itineraries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and confident stakeholder engagement
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Solid computer literacy and adaptability to new systems
