What does the job look like?

Join the Analytics and Design Services (ADS) team and help shape the future of warehouse operations across the Linfox network. As a Warehouse Solutions Analyst, you'll develop innovative warehouse and automation solutions that improve efficiency, optimise workflows and support strategic growth initiatives. Based on the Position Description, the role supports supply chain and logistics solution development, warehouse design, automation opportunities and data-driven decision making.

Reporting to the Warehouse Solutions & Automation Manager, you'll work closely with operational leaders, commercial teams, project stakeholders and customers to design practical, scalable and future-focused solutions.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop warehouse and automation solutions that support customer and business requirements
• Analyse operational data and provide actionable insights to support design decisions
• Conduct warehouse modelling, process mapping and operational profiling
• Create warehouse layouts and design concepts using CAD tools
• Evaluate automation technologies including AMRs, ASRS, conveyors and sortation systems
• Support tenders, customer workshops and business case development
• Prepare project updates, solution summaries and stakeholder presentations
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve analysis, design and reporting capabilities
• Promote and maintain Linfox's Vision Zero safety culture

Are you the one?

We're looking for a commercially minded analyst who combines operational experience with strong analytical and design capabilities.

You'll bring:

• Experience in warehouse operations, supply chain solutions or logistics design
• Strong analytical, modelling and problem-solving skills
• Experience interpreting complex data and developing practical solutions
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations
• Experience with CAD software and warehouse design tools
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of automation technologies and warehouse optimisation methodologies
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Logistics, IT, Business or a related discipline (preferred)
