What does the job look like?
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications that support Linfox's transport, warehouse and billing operations. Working across SAP, Transport Management Systems (TMS), telematics and other enterprise applications, you will lead testing activities, manage quality outcomes and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful solutions.
This role is based onsite at our Essendon Fields Head Office.
Key responsibilities:
- Analysing business requirements and developing effective test approaches.
- Performing test planning, estimation and test script creation.
- Executing manual and automated testing across system, integration, regression and UAT phases.
- Managing defects, risks and issue resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Developing test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrices and test reports.
- Supporting business stakeholders during testing and project delivery activities.
- Contributing to testing processes, tools, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with Transport Product Teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Mentoring and supporting team members in testing practices and methodologies.
About You:
You are an experienced testing professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes. You have strong stakeholder engagement skills, a proactive approach and the ability to manage testing activities in complex environments. Experience within logistics, transport or supply chain environments will be highly regarded.
You can demonstrate:
- Experience with billing systems within Transport and Warehousing environments.
- 8+ years' experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification (essential).
- Experience delivering testing across complex enterprise projects.
- Strong SAP testing experience, particularly SAP TM, EWM and WMS.
- Experience testing Transport Management Systems (TMS) and related enterprise applications.
- Strong experience across system, integration, automation and user acceptance testing.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, traceability matrices and testing reports.
- Exposure to testing tools such as Jira, Zephyr, ServiceNow and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Selenium, SQL, JavaScript and CI/CD concepts will be highly regarded.
- Experience within logistics, transport or supply chain environments.
