What does the job look like?

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced logistics environments. You'll be responsible for leading a high-performing warehouse team, ensuring operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, people, and cost outcomes.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll drive productivity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the site consistently delivers outstanding operational performance.

• Lead and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to achieve productivity, service, and safety targets.
• Ensure the effective utilisation of labour, equipment, and resources across the site.
• Analyse weekly and monthly KPI performance, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Manage labour planning and engage with labour hire providers to address workforce requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing, reviewing, and refining warehouse processes and procedures.
• Manage site financial performance, including P&L responsibilities, cost control, and identifying savings opportunities.
• Foster a positive safety culture and ensure all safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are consistently met.

We're looking for a hands-on warehouse leader who can drive operational performance, develop people, and build a strong safety culture. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience leading warehouse operations within a fast-paced logistics, transport, or supply chain environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop leaders and team members to achieve performance outcomes.
• Strong understanding of warehouse productivity, labour planning, inventory management, and operational efficiencies.
• Experience managing site costs, budgets, and P&L responsibilities, with a focus on delivering cost-effective outcomes.
• Ability to analyse KPI and performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with experience reviewing and enhancing operational processes.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
