What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to support safe, efficient and compliant transport operations at our Milton site. This role will oversee day-to-day transport activity, working closely with drivers, subcontractors, customer stakeholders and transport leadership to ensure service delivery, safety and operational performance are maintained. Hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Key areas:

• Lead safe and compliant transport operations, with a strong focus on Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, mass compliance, load restraint, servicing and vehicle standards.Oversee daily transport activity, supporting load planning, fleet utilisation, driver movements and delivery execution across the Milton operation.
• Manage a dedicated and specialised fleet, ensuring trucks and trailers are maintained to required standards and accreditation requirements are met.
• Monitor operational performance, including loads per driver per shift and customer expectations around empty keg returns.
• Support peak period operations, including subcontractor engagement and alignment with the Eagle Farm fleet when required.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, representing BevChain professionally and escalating major issues where required.
• Contribute to workforce planning, labour resourcing, subcontractor management, budget awareness and reporting to transport senior leadership

Are you the one?

• Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to lead drivers, manage expectations and support a positive team culture.
• Strong transport, logistics or distribution operations experience, ideally in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Confident working with drivers, subcontractors and customer stakeholders to maintain service delivery and operational standards.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset, with practical understanding of CoR, fatigue, mass, maintenance and fleet standards.
• Ability to handle disputes professionally, communicate clearly and represent the business well with customer stakeholders.
• Experience in labour planning, workforce coordination or budget awareness will be highly regarded.
• A calm, practical and relationship-focused approach, with the ability to engage experienced driver groups and influence outcomes respectfully
