What does the job look like?

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team, supporting our Support Functions business units including Corporate Services, IT, Finance, Commercial, Property and other professional services teams across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developing HR professional looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with experienced HR Business Partners, you'll gain broad exposure across employee relations, recruitment, performance, employee engagement, organisational development and HR projects, while building your capability as a trusted HR practitioner.

What will you do?

  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and leaders on people policies, procedures and employment matters.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners to deliver people initiatives and support daily HR operations across the Support Functions portfolio.
  • Support performance and development processes, helping leaders conduct meaningful development conversations.
  • Coordinate and contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations and case management while gaining exposure to more complex HR scenarios.
  • Prepare and analyse people metrics, reports and HR data to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and governance processes.
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements and change initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
  • Champion the LIFT Values and support a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

Are you the one?

You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals who are passionate about developing future talent and providing opportunities for growth. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of HR disciplines while supporting diverse professional business functions across the organisation.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, People & Culture Coordinator, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or junior HR role.
  • A genuine desire to develop a long-term career in Human Resources.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • An interest in employee relations, recruitment and leadership development.
  • Sound judgement, professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity, resilience and a willingness to learn from experienced HR professionals.
