What does the job look like?

Linfox is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our Group Commercial team based at Essendon Fields on a 2-year maximum term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your commercial capability and gain exposure across multiple business units. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening commercial governance by reviewing business cases, pricing models and contract performance, helping shape strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Review commercial models, pricing submissions and business cases to ensure accuracy and compliance with commercial standards.
• Validate assumptions, calculations and profitability outcomes to support informed decision-making.
• Identify risks and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and analyse contract performance.
• Support tenders, contract renewals and investment assessments through scenario and profitability analysis.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of commercial frameworks, models and reporting tools.

About You:

You are a commercially minded professional who enjoys analysing data, solving problems and partnering with stakeholders to drive better business outcomes. You are naturally curious, detail-oriented and confident challenging assumptions to ensure robust decision-making.

You can demonstrate:

• Experience in a Commercial, Pricing, Finance or Analyst role.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Experience supporting business cases, pricing reviews or commercial decision-making.
• Ability to translate data into practical insights and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
