What does the job look like?

We are seeking a Transport Support Analyst to support Linfox’s Digital Freight Network and transport systems. You’ll monitor platform performance, troubleshoot incidents and data issues, and work with internal teams and vendors to keep transport operations running reliably.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day functional and operational support across live business units, customers and transport operations.
  • Monitor platform processes, integrations, interfaces, scheduled jobs and operational queues.
  • Triage and resolve incidents and service requests based on business impact and agreed service levels.
  • Investigate functional, integration, master data and transaction issues using available logs, monitoring tools and system evidence.
  • Document issues, findings and diagnostic information before escalating to specialist teams or vendors.
  • Coordinate resolution activities, provide clear stakeholder updates and confirm service recovery.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities to reduce recurring incidents.
  • Assist with business continuity during peak periods, releases, cutovers and major operational events.

About You:

You are a practical and analytical problem solver who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. You communicate clearly, work collaboratively across technical and business teams, and are comfortable supporting users in a live transport operation.

You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in customer service and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • The ability to prioritise high workloads and manage time effectively.
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively across broader teams.
  • A tertiary or diploma qualification in business, IT or a related area.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms in complex operational or BAU environments.
  • Transport, logistics, TMS or 24/7 operational experience is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to systems such as SAP TM, SAP ECC or Blue Yonder would be advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work on site and support operational requirements when needed.
