What does the job look like?  

An exciting opportunity has become available for a commercially focused leader to join BevChain as National Commercial Manager - Lion & Projects. Reporting to the GM Commercial & Finance, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance across the Lion portfolio, leading strategic financial modelling, supporting major projects and identifying opportunities to improve profitability, revenue capture and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Operations, Customer Engagement and senior stakeholders across the business while providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. This role will also work closely with key stakeholders within our customer, Lion to support and deliver upon agreed on projects and initiatives as well as prepare and participate in regular customer review meetings.

  • Lead commercial modelling and financial analysis across the Lion customer portfolio.
  • Drive commercial optimisation initiatives to improve profitability and performance.
  • Support new business opportunities, major projects and business improvement initiatives.
  • Lead annual planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Partner with operational leaders and the customer to identify risks, opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support customer reviews, contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
  • Oversee revenue capture and billing processes to minimise leakage and improve cash flow.
  • Lead and develop a Commercial Analyst while fostering a high-performance culture.

Are you the one?  

You are a commercially astute professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders to solve complex business challenges. You can translate data into meaningful insights, influence senior stakeholders and identify opportunities that deliver measurable business outcomes. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong commercial, financial modelling and analytical capability.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proven experience identifying and delivering business improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain or operational environments highly regarded.
  • A collaborative leadership style focused on developing and supporting others.
