What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced procurement leader to join Linfox in the role of Group Procurement Manager. You will lead and deliver Linfox's enterprise-wide procurement strategy, driving commercial value, supplier performance, governance, and operational excellence across the organisation.

This role provides a unique opportunity to influence business-wide outcomes and partner with Executive, Finance, Legal, Fleet, Technology and operational stakeholders while leading a high-performing procurement function.

Key areas:

• Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies aligned to enterprise objectives.
• Deliver strategic sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract awards.
• Strengthen supplier governance, performance management and risk mitigation across key spend categories.
• Partner with senior leaders across the business as a trusted commercial advisor.
• Ensure procurement policies, governance frameworks and delegated authorities are applied consistently.
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement team while maintaining operational continuity and performance outcomes.

You are a commercially astute procurement leader with experience operating in a large and complex organisation. You thrive on building strong stakeholder relationships, influencing business decisions, and identifying opportunities to create value across the enterprise.

You bring a strategic mindset while remaining comfortable working hands-on when required, and you are passionate about leading teams and driving continuous improvement.

You can demonstrate:

• Proven experience leading enterprise or group procurement functions.
• Strong commercial, sourcing and contract negotiation capability.
• A track record of delivering cost optimisation, value creation and supplier performance outcomes.
• Experience operating within asset-intensive, operational or logistics-focused environments.
• Strong executive stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
