What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity is available for full-time experienced heavy vehicle mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team in Port Headland WA. This is a unique opportunity to work with Australia’s largest privately-owned logistics company. With lots to offer, securing a role at Linfox will not disappoint. 

This position operates on 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster, with flights provided to and from Port Hedland or Newman, WA. We also welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Port Hedland who are seeking a local opportunity.

Key areas:

• Driving the Linfox safety standards always and ensuring that Vision ZERO is a daily focus.
• Servicing and maintenance including identifying faults on equipment.
• Ensuring the presentation of the Linfox equipment is maintained at a high standard.
• Working collaboratively with the Service Centre manager and team to ensure solid communication is maintained always.

You can demonstrate:

• Mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is essential.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
• Must be a team player and understand the importance of safety and compliance.
• Proven experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic.
• Previous fleet and/or trailer maintenance and servicing experience.
