What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal business unit, has a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced B-Double Truck Driver to deliver products to stores and distribution centres within the Brisbane metro area. This is a Monday - Friday day shift opportunity commencing at 5:00am with the potential for overtime

Key areas: 

• Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all times
• Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation

Are you the one? 

• Current MC License is essential
• Prior transport experience driving B-double vehicles
• Knowledge of local and regional locations within Brisbane and surrounding areas
• Familiarity with fundamental manual handling & pre-start protocols
• Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
