What does the job look like?
We are seeking a proactive Transport Supervisor to oversee day-to-day transport operations at our Maddington site, working Monday to Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, coordinating transport resources and ensuring compliance with company, customer and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Site Transport Manager and operational teams, you will support the efficient use of fleet and labour, monitor performance and service outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across the operation. You will also provide coaching and support to the transport team while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key areas:
- Oversee daily transport operations, driver schedules, work allocation and service requirements
- Coordinate fleet availability, resource planning, asset reconciliation and maintenance schedules
- Monitor transport movements and KPIs to support accurate reporting and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue, mass, axle and workplace safety requirements
- Coach and support drivers and team members, with a strong focus on safety, compliance and performance
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain positive relationships with customers and subcontractors

Are you the one?
This role would suit an experienced transport professional who can confidently coordinate daily operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, people and customer service. You can demonstrate:
- Experience in transport or warehouse operations, ideally within an FMCG or retail environment
- Previous experience supervising employees and coordinating operational resources
- Strong knowledge of transport safety, Chain of Responsibility and workplace compliance
- Experience managing fleet, equipment, customer service or subcontractor relationships
- Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
