What does the job look like?
Our Retail business is seeking a Transport Supervisor to join our Woolworths team based at Heathwood
Working on a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling roster (4:00am – 4:00pm), you'll play a key role in leading our frontline transport operation, driving safety, service and operational performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership career. You'll have the opportunity to influence how the operation runs, challenge existing ways of working, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Key areas:
- Lead the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring safe and efficient delivery outcomes.
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs, service measures and transport performance.
- Responsible for workforce planning to ensure customer dispatch requirements are consistently met
- Ensure safety incidents, observations and reports are completed and closed out in a timely manner.
- Foster strong working relationships with drivers, customer and internal team members
- Support fatigue management, compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, service delivery and team performance.
- Manage customer communications and contribute to a positive customer experience.
