What does the job look like?
Linfox is looking for an experienced National Pallet Manager to lead pallet operations across BevChain and drive greater consistency and standardisation in pallet management practices across our sites nationally.
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing, supporting and auditing pallet accounts while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency and consistent pallet management practices. You’ll also play an important role in training, mentoring and upskilling site teams to ensure best practice processes are understood and followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee pallet management across BevChain, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
- Train and mentor site pallet controllers and operational teams in 2IC pallet software and best practice processes.
- Lead audits and reviews of pallet accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliations are completed on time.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external pallet providers to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.
- Collate, analyse and report pallet data to senior management, providing accurate and meaningful insights.
Are you the one?
You’re a self-starter with strong experience in pallet control and account management, ideally within transport or logistics. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have a strong eye for detail and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to your work.
You can demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years’ pallet management experience, including managing multiple accounts across retail, liquor, manufacturing and transport.
- Proven experience using 2IC pallet software, MyCHEP and Loscam.
- Strong reconciliation, data analysis and reporting skills across multiple account types.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
