What does the job look like?
The primary purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of Property Projects within the Property Development and Sustainability team on a 12-month contract, with potential for extension.
These projects will include Fit out Projects for New Build and Existing Facilities, Make Good Projects, Property Development Projects, Operational Implementation & Transition and Business Unit support related to properties.
Key Areas:
- Hands On assistance with the management and co-ordination of the Project Delivery stream to successfully deliver projects on time with high quality outcomes.
- Assist with the management and co-ordination of the Project Delivery stream to successfully deliver projects on time with high quality outcomes.
- Assist with resource management of the team ensuring effective planning and allocation of projects to the Project Stream Leads.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, key stakeholders, and external customers as directed.
- Assist with delivering to the approved Project Scope, schedule, budget and agreed quality.
- Create best practices and opportunities from lessons learned from all our projects through SharePoint repository of past Project documents, Tools, Templates and Reporting.
- Ensure Project documents, Tools, Templates and Reporting are updated by team members to reflect the current market initiatives and pricing.
- Provide a project delivery quality assurance service & support to the rest of the team on their projects ensuring best practice is followed, and that projects are delivered successfully meeting the customer requirements.
Are you the one?
You're the one if you have the background and hands on expertise listed and have demonstrated experience working as a Senior Project Coordinator
- Experience in Warehouse and Transport Logistics Operations
- Strong knowledge in warehouse design, construction, operational fit out infrastructure and a "Hands On" approach
- Proven experience and a drive to lead by example in managing contractors in the fit out of warehouse and operational infrastructure including pallet racking, security, safety infrastructure, operational equipment and MHE solutions.
- Prince2 or similar project management qualifications are highly desirable
- Strong project governance skills and methodology, exposure and understanding of project accounting methods and principles
- A strong understanding of environmental impacts through the delivery of projects so that sustainable solution with minimal impact to the environment are delivered in accordance with the Linfox zero emissions policy.
