What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational team to ensure effective utilisation of warehouse resources while meeting or exceeding the service expectations of our customer in regard to safety performance, service, cost and people management. Key areas

  • Analyse daily/weekly KPIs to drive site improvements and provide input to weekly financial reporting
  • Drive the continuous improvement of warehouse operations by developing, reviewing, and updating procedures and practices
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring high service levels and addressing any issues related to product quality
  • Ensure that site training and compliance are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Integrate the Linfox Values into the operational culture, ensuring they guide all decisions and actions

Are you the one?

You will have a proven track record of driving efficiencies in a fast-paced environment. You will be a dynamic leader with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will demonstrate:

  • Experience in a management position in a DC/warehouse environment
  • Ability to lead a team to achieve high levels of performance
  • Ability to be agile and perform under pressure
  • Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare shift reports and incident reports
  •
