What does the job look like?

We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Supervisor to lead our operations at the Tullamarine cross-functional facility in the FMCG sector. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing night shift activities, ensuring accurate workflow planning, timely data processing, and maintaining training compliance for the team. You will act as the primary point of contact for night operations, stepping in for the Workflow Coordinator and other administrative staff when necessary. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service, you will foster a collaborative work environment and ensure the site's administrative requirements are met. Key areas:

• Provide efficient and effective customer service through the fielding and resolution of queries from the customers, carriers, and related parties to ensure business continuity.
• Enhance the work environment through effective communication and development of team members.
• Ensure 2IC transactions for inbound and outbound orders are processed nightly.
• Provide timely and accurate information for the weekly generation of financial reporting, billing of customers and payment of employee.
• Monitor customer order to ensure warehouse activity aligns to workflow requirements.
• Assist other Linfox office personnel with their duties as part of a multi-functional team.
• Actively promotes behaviors that support the Linfox vision of an injury free workplace.

Are you the one?

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in supervising night shift operations, excellent leadership skills, and a background in compliance and training within the FMCG or logistics industry. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to safety and operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you. You can demonstrate:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced medium to large 3PL operational leadership role
• Previous experience with Microsoft and SAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• LF license is preferred but not essential
• Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong conflict resolution skills, including active listening, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, patience, empathy, impartiality, negotiation, and clear, concise communication.
