What does the job look like?
In this key role, you will manage facility and infrastructure for a portfolio of Linfox Resources & Industrial properties, ensuring safety and compliance are maintained to an exemplary standard. This management role works closely with leaders and key contacts at six sites across Perth and regional Pilbara locations to ensure facility services function effectively and address any repairs or issues in a safe, prompt and cost-effective manner. Key areas:
- Ensure Linfox safety standards are maintained at all R&I West facilities
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the site buildings & grounds
- Oversee contractors including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, safety, gardening, cleaning, waste management to maintain the facility to Linfox standards
- Create and manage maintenance plans for each site, ensuring compliance with Linfox contractor management policies
- Manage small facilities team ensuring adequate supervision and training
- Financial administration of site-based maintenance activities and following procurement processes
Are you the one?
To be successful in this role, you have an eye for detail and are willing to be hands on to ensure our facilities are maintained to a high standard. You are customer focused and are able to work across and address the needs of multiple sites and stakeholders. You can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a comparable facilities manager role
- Experience maintaining operational environments, prior supply chain exposure advantageous
- Knowledge of Australian Compliance requirements for building infrastructure
- Experience in managing teams of contractors
- Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office, SharePoint
- Ability for monthly travel to regional sites and to be on call to address priority issues
