What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Afternoon Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Multiuser facility in Willawong. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment while meeting client expectations and performance targets. Key areas:

  • Safety & Compliance: Lead site safety efforts by maintaining and updating the risk register, handling incident reporting, and driving compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse functions to achieve productivity and customer service benchmarks, manage staffing, and optimize resources.
  • Financial Oversight: Control site costs, including staff wages, maintenance, and discretionary expenses, with a strong focus on budget adherence.
  • Team Leadership: Train and supervise a team of 8, encouraging a positive culture, recognizing safe behavior, and facilitating performance reviews.
  • Customer Service: Participate in daily meetings and address client requests, aiming to resolve minor issues within 24 hours.

Are you the one?

You a results-driven professional with a passion for safety, team leadership, and operational excellence who thrives in a dynamic environment and can lead a team to success. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Warehouse Management role, with a proven ability to supervise staff and manage daily operations.
  • Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with Occupational Safety or Risk Management standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (SAP preferred) and the Microsoft Office suite.
