What does the job look like?

We are currently seeking an Inventory Officer with logistics and inventory experience to join the Government and Defence Business Unit on a 18 month contract. The Inventory Officer will be a liaison between Linfox and the Defence network to oversee the delivery of key warehousing, inventory management and disposal related services across the network. Key areas:

  • Deliver productive outcomes for the business through the effective utilisation of inventory and system processes
  • Action and advise on the client's parts hastening function including referral to stock item owners 
  • Act as inventory section liaison and problem-solving conduit between customers and stock item owners
  • Contribute to inventory policy design and support 
  • Action inventory management tasks as required

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks 
  • Understanding of complex and technical reports
  • A pragmatic approach and strong analytical skills to review data and reporting
