What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AM Shift Manager to join our Distribution Centre (DC) located in Kewdale, WA. This role offers a unique chance to advance your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with renowned FMCG clients.

As an AM Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of site operations during your shift. You will utilize available resources to achieve optimal outcomes, guiding team managers and members to collaboratively manage demand, workload, and priorities as defined by Linfox and our customers.

Key areas:

  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPI's are met and exceeded
  • Allocate resources and or labour dynamically as per volume requirements and priorities
  • Manage productivity on shift per site targets
  • Completion of incident reports, communication of investigation findings in line with Linfox reporting requirements
  • Maintain appropriate payroll and time records and ensure personnel records are completed, maintained, or forwarded
  • Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed Safety goals, in line with annual Site Safety Plan, or real time changes in safety performance

Are you the one?

We are seeking a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to staff development. The successful candidate will be available to work a Monday to Friday roster from 5 am to 2 pm. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in warehouse operations in a Retail or FMCG environment is highly regarded
  • Proven leadership capabilities including ability to lead and develop results focused teams
  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations including Chain of Responsibility
  • Experience using SAP, WMS and automated systems is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities
  • Results orientated, and able to work under pressure
