What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is currently seeking multiple casual HC licenced drivers with rail transport experience to join their team based in West Melbourne VIC. There are a variety of shifts available on AM/PM where you will be responsible for delivering single container loads with various freight from our major customers both locally & regionally.  Key areas:

• Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus

• Open HC licence
• Experience delivering containerised freight throughout the Melbourne region and beyond
• Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction
• History of safe work practices & excellent communication
• Rail experience highly regarded but not essential
