What does the job look like?

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be passionate about the logistics industry, your people, and our customers, and will relish the opportunity to lead by example. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive warehouse team working in collaboration with our people, with every decision you make driven by safety, service, and cost. By partnering closely with the Site Manager, you will ensure we exceed operational and service metrics while finding opportunities to introduce continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the site to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
• Collaborate with customers in monthly meetings to review financial and operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and address challenges.
• Drive safety performance by achieving goals aligned with the annual Site Safety Plan and responding to real-time safety needs.
• Analyse budgets, resource plans, and capital strategies, along with weekly KPI reporting and analysis to maintain efficient, cost-effective operations.
• Lead initiatives focused on cost containment, profit maximization, and meeting budget and customer objectives.
• Allocate warehouse resources effectively to optimise productivity while meeting or exceeding customer service benchmarks.
• Provide strong leadership and foster enthusiasm among operational teams by maintaining an active presence in day-to-day site matters.

The Warehouse Manager establishes and maintains an efficient and cost-effective warehouse team to ensure that the BevChain contracted outcomes are achieved in the timeliest, efficient and cost-effective manner to both BevChain and the customer. You can demonstrate:

• Leadership & Development: Experience leading and developing a management team to drive KPIs and performance outcomes
• Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to provide proactive, forward-thinking leadership with a week-to-week focus on continuous improvement
• Financial Management: Expertise in delivering and executing P&L responsibilities, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability
• Customer Relationship Management: Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and aligned objective
