What does the job look like?

As the Administration Manager, you will oversee the seamless execution of payroll, subcontractor payments, and customer invoicing across our NSW Transport network. Leading a team of administration professionals, you’ll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across critical business functions.

This dynamic role requires flexibility to work across two key sites located at Kemps Creek and Eastern Creek. Key areas:

  • Managing and validating time and attendance data in Workforce Dimensions (Kronos) for payroll and labour hire
  • Checking, validating, and approving weekly payroll reports before submission
  • Overseeing subcontractor payments and customer invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliations
  •  Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies, issuing credits or adjustments as required
  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervising, training, and supporting administration staff to ensure high performance
  • Managing accounts payable, reconciling revenue, and handling outstanding debts
  • Documenting and maintaining site and operations system procedures

If you enjoy problem-solving, process improvement, and leading a high-performing team, this role is for you. You can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a leadership position
  • Experience with time & attendance systems such as Workforce Dimensions (preferred) or Kronos.
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to analyze data, solve problems, and ensure compliance
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
