What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit is looking for a Billing Analyst located at the Acacia Ridge, QLD office on a max-term 12-month contract. A part of the Billing team, you will be working closely with the commercial, finance and operational teams and play an integral role in coordinating the Customer data, revenue recognition, invoicing and TMS system compliance. Key areas:

  • Action internal control reports that identify anomalies that can cause invoice inaccuracy and remedy anomalies
  • Maintain the integrity of sales data within the revenue collection system by identifying, investigating and eliminating data failings
  • Proactively monitor and update customer account details, ensuring accuracy of rates and customer billing information
  • Maintain financial and customer databases, ensuring systems are updated regularly
  • Resolve invoice-related disputes by conducting thorough investigations
  • Reconcile customer accounts by reviewing and verifying transaction data
  • Assist the team leader in the monthly billing cycle, including responding to customer queries and supporting reporting requirements

Are you the one?

You can demonstrate:

  • Minimum of two years of experience within finance operations, with a background in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliation and Billing preferable
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting policies and techniques
  • Ability to identify, investigate, analyse and report on financial data
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, previous exposure to SAP would be highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills including ability to collaborate with various finance and operational teams
