What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Retail Business Unit is seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Erskine Park, NSW. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining safety standards, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement within transport operations. You will work closely with drivers and operational teams to investigate incidents, implement safety initiatives, and provide training. This is a hands-on position that requires active site engagement to assess risks and support a strong safety culture. Key areas:

  • Support retail teams in achieving transport safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate safety reporting, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Enforce critical safety protocols and pre-trip and fit for duty procedures in vehicle operations
  • Compile and present detailed safety performance data to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate on-site audits, training sessions, and safety briefings.
  • Advise leadership on continuous safety improvements and best practices.

Are you the one?

We are looking for a proactive safety professional eager to build expertise in transport safety and compliance. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively with teams, and take initiative in safety investigations and compliance enforcement. You can demonstrate: 

  • Minimum Cert IV in WHS required.
  • Exposure to transport safety, compliance, or investigations.
  • Ability to engage and influence teams in a safety-focused environment.
  • Comfortable working on-site, including truck-based investigations.
  • Basic understanding of safety management systems and risk assessment practices.
  • Background in supply chain, parcel delivery, or heavy vehicle operations is advantageous.
