What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our Fox Direct division in Kewdale. You will play a key role in the planning and coordination of metro and regional deliveries, ensuring seamless transport operations and high service standards. You will work closely with drivers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to optimise scheduling, maintain compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role will be a permanent position Mon – Fri (5am – 1pm). Key areas:

  • Route planning & scheduling of all Linfox responsible delivery / pick up points.
  • Report delivery delays and manage customer expectations
  • Monitor driver fatigue management and compliance.
  • Coordinate urgent customer freight requirements as they arise.
  • Maintain Inbound / outbound booking schedule spreadsheets.
  • Work closely with the Transport Manager and operations team to ensure seamless logistics execution.

If you are a highly organised and detail oriented transport professional looking to build your career, then this role could be for you. You can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Transport and Logistics
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, Dangerous Goods, Load Restraint, and Fatigue Management.
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge with Microsoft packages (Excel and Outlook)
