What does the job look like?
As a PM Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead the afternoon warehouse operations from Monday to Friday, with a rotational Saturday shift. You’ll oversee a team to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while managing workforce planning, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and operational standards. Collaboration with transport, customer service, and external stakeholders is key to success in this role. Key areas:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, with a particular focus on the receipt, put-away, picking, wrapping, load creation, replenishment, loading, and container processing.
- Delegate responsibilities and meticulously monitor team performance in strict adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide comprehensive daily KPI and weekly warehouse activity reports to management.
- Efficiently schedule warehouse resources to optimize productivity for BevChain, while consistently meeting or exceeding our client's customer service benchmarks.
- Strategically plan and execute daily warehouse labour activities to ensure alignment with financial plans.
- Supervise and actively participate in stock counts, stock reporting, and audit procedures.
- Manage site consumables, including but not limited to pallet wrap, empty pallets, empty kegs, and labels.
- Cultivate a collaborative relationship through regular personal interactions and a genuine concern for customer welfare and success.
- Monitor and support effective communication among customer representatives, dispatchers, drivers, and other staff across all shifts and areas of the business.
- Ensure the flawless execution of all inbound, receiving, and unloading operations.
