What does the job look like?
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and trustworthy Truck Wash Operator to join our team and ensure our fleet stays in top condition.
This permanent afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday) offers stability, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment. If you're looking for additional overtime, we also offer the chance to work every second Saturday from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
In this hands-on role, you will take charge of our automatic truck wash facility while also performing manual cleaning and basic maintenance of our modern fleet. You’ll work in a supportive and safety-focused environment, ensuring our vehicles look their best and operate at peak performance.
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Linfox Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements are met at all times.
- Washing trucks and trailers, both exterior and interior, with great attention to detail
- Assist the trades team with general TA and workshop duties
- Maintaining the truck wash schedule to keep operations running smoothly
- Keeping the wash area clean and organised at all time
Are you the one?
- Previous experience as a Truck or Vehicle Wash Operator is highly regarded
- HR/HC/MC is highly desired
- Basic machine operator experience
- Experience in vehicle or general cleaning
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A strong work ethic and reliability
