What does the job look like?

Linfox partners with leading mining companies, providing specialised logistics services across the country. Our Resources and Industrial business seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to support our Hazelmere PUD transport operations. You will be responsible for the coordination of daily PUD despatch and capturing and settling generated revenue. This role will be offered on a max-term 12 month contract. Key areas:

  • Oversee scheduling and fleet utilisation to maximise profitability
  • Coordinate rosters, load plans and other operational issues on a day-to-day basis for PUD Despatch
  • Monitor staff KPI's including delivery window targets
  • Data entry into SAP including payroll, billing and data processing
  • Build and maintain an effective and successful relationship with the customer and all key stakeholders
  • Responsible for managing site WH&S policies & procedures

As a tech savvy individual with a high attention to detail and excellent time management, you will have a strong commitment to drive safety and compliance across our business. Your ability to work in an open, collaborative, and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment
  • A strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and mass management
  • Detailed knowledge of transportation and warehousing and/or receipting functions
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for industry and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience using Excel and SAP will be highly regarded
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures
