What does the job look like?

We are looking for a highly motivated Inventory Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of Inventory management across all Unilever sites, ensuring inventory accuracy, stock control, and compliance with customer requirements.

  • Ensuring they can competently perform quality audits of inventory and raise NCR notification to customer teams of variances as outlined in customer policies.
  • Lead and manage yearly wall to wall stock takes at each site
  • Travel interstate when required
  • Manage and lead three site Inventory Controllers who will be direct reports to your role
  • Develop good working relationship with Unilever Inventory Managers pertinent to each site
  • Adhere to quality policies, including zoning of inventory, age control of inventory, cycle counting and auditing of every location. Perform mock recall as required by customer in timely manner.

Are you the one?

As the Inventory Manager you will have a strong background in warehouse operations and be highly customer focused. You will have: 

  • Previous experience within a Warehouse Operations
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Decision making ability
  • Great relationship-building skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel) and  SAP both Inventory and Operational
