What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced HC truck driver to join our team in Melbourne’s West. The successful candidate will be experienced with Taught liner, in strapping loads of palletised freight and Ply Boards, have effective communication skills and demonstrates a commitment to safety in the workplace.  This is a permanent afternoon shift opportunity working across Monday – Friday, 10am to 10pm. We are offering competitive rates and an opportunity to grow within an Iconic Australian Transport Company. Key areas:

• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling and maintaining truck interior
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors and customer as needed
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately.
• Complete run sheets and ensure you collect all critical documents.

Are you the one?

• Current and valid HC license
• History of safe work practices
• Familiarity with Melbourne’s West
• Strong customer service and communication skills
