Distribution Centre Manager

As the Distribution Centre Manager at our site in Chullora, you will be responsible for driving safety, service, and commercial performance across a high-volume chilled operation. This role is critical to delivering key contractual outcomes while fostering innovation, customer engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of warehouse operations to meet safety, service, and compliance targets.
  • Oversee P&L accountability and drive commercial outcomes across our customer contract.
  • Build strong client partnerships and manage ongoing performance, KPI delivery, and growth.
  • Develop and coach leadership teams to support succession, capability, and culture.
  • Champion innovation, cost-efficiency, and continuous improvement across warehouse processes.
  • Ensure business continuity planning and risk mitigation strategies are actively maintained.

We’re seeking a results-oriented leader with strong logistics experience and commercial capability. You’ll bring a collaborative mindset, a focus on safety, and the ability to engage key stakeholders across all levels. If you're ready to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-profile contract, we want to hear from you. You can demonstrate:

  • Several years’ experience in third-party logistics or warehouse management.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale DC operations.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing P&L and KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of legislative compliance including Chain of Responsibility and WHS.
  • Experience managing workforce performance, culture, and operational reporting.
