About the Role

Based in Auburn, this Assistant Accountant position plays a key role in delivering accurate financial results and supporting continuous improvement across finance systems and processes. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Operations and Commercial to provide timely financial insights and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue weekly invoices and supporting documentation.
• Manage P2P processes including purchase orders and supplier invoice processing.
• Perform weekly and monthly supplier account reconciliations.
• Assist with journal preparation and financial close processes.
• Support capital project management and asset capitalisation.
• Contribute to annual planning and reforecasting activities.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation for finance activities.

About You

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys stakeholder engagement.

You’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA/CA qualification or active progress toward certification.
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP highly regarded).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
