What does the job look like?
Join the Linfox Resources & Industrial team and play a key role in supporting global mining operations. As a Transport Analyst, you’ll work in true partnership with leading mining companies, identifying actionable insights to improve performance and productivity. This is a permanent, full-time role based at 36 Stockyards Road Hazelmere, offering significant opportunities for growth and professional development.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for investigating and improving transport operations, optimizing route schedules, and delivering insightful reports to stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with operational management, finance teams, and external partners to drive continuous improvement across our transport network. Key areas:
- Prepare and analyse transport data to support weekly and monthly operations, using advanced tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and SAP TM.
- Develop recommendations to optimise routes, resources, and delivery schedules, leveraging data analytics and automation.
- Support implementation of improvement initiatives and manage related projects across R&I West.
- Provide actionable insights to stakeholders to aid decision making and drive operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage risks, develop contingency plans, and support sustainability initiatives.
- Lead troubleshooting and improvements for asset tracking and trailer utilisation, ensuring full visibility across regions.
- Build and maintain digital workflow applications to enhance scheduling, compliance, and asset management.
- Deliver end-user support and training for new tools and dashboards.
- Document processes, write user guides, and contribute to ongoing digital change.

If you’re a motivated, logical thinker with strong analytical and technical skills, we’d love to hear from you.
You can demonstrate:
- Experience in transport, logistics, or warehousing (desirable but not essential).
- High proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel (VBA, Power Query, Pivot), and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of SAP TM and Transport Management Systems for scheduling and compliance.
- Ability to resolve problems, adapt quickly, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- A flexible, diligent, and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and digital enablement.
