What does the job look like?

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision making across Linfox by designing, developing and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into high-quality insights. The role works predominantly in Power BI and contributes to modern analytics solutions across the Microsoft Fabric platform, supporting scalable data models and governed self-service reporting.

You will join an established Data & Analytics team that collaborates across the enterprise to uncover insights, identify trends and enable a more efficient and sustainable future through data.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Essendon Fields (VIC).

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing enterprise-scale Power BI dashboards and reports
• Translating business requirements into effective data and BI solutions
• Designing robust, performant and reusable data models
• Working across large, complex datasets and data warehousing environments
• Leveraging Microsoft Fabric tools including Dataflows, Data Pipelines and Data Warehouse
• Producing clear documentation to support reporting and analytics solutions
• Partnering with stakeholders to deliver insights that drive informed decisions

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

• Strong experience in data analysis and business intelligence
• Proven Power BI development experience
• Solid data modelling and warehousing capability
• Proficiency in SQL, DAX and M language
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration
• A growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Experience with Snowflake, Power Apps or Power Automate is desirable but not essential.
