 About the Role

As a Management Accountant based at our Auburn Head Office, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across our customer contracts. You will partner closely with operations and commercial teams to drive performance, ensure financial integrity, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse weekly/monthly P&Ls and bridge reports for customer contracts.
  • Manage revenue and cost recognition, general ledger journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Operational stakeholders to understand financial drivers.
  • Support capital project tracking, asset capitalisation, and purchase order processing.
  • Assist with annual planning, reforecasting, and system/process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting timetables.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and provide coverage across the Finance team as needed.

What You will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce.
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion.
  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial finance, ideally in transport/logistics.
  • Strong financial reporting and budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, TM1, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail.
