What does the job look like?
We’re looking for a resilient and proactive Operations Manager to join our team and oversee our customers online operations across Queensland. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage subcontractor performance, ensure fleet readiness, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Key areas:
- Manage subcontractor relationships to achieve KPIs including on-time delivery, service quality, and compliance.
- Oversee fleet availability to meet customer delivery forecasts.
- Monitor and interpret operational data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Conduct regular site visits and maintain a strong presence at key locations such as Rochedale and Willawong.
- Collaborate with customer counterparts in weekly meetings to align on service expectations and resolve issues.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and general administration tasks such as invoicing
- Plan effectively for peak delivery periods and ensure adequate driver and fleet resources.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with company standards.

- Previous experience in logistics, transport, or operations management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage subcontractors and customer relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and familiarity with fleet management systems.
