What does the job look like?

As a Transport Allocator, you’ll be the driving force behind safe, compliant and efficient transport operations across a high volume, multi-client environment. You will work Monday – Friday from 8am to 4pm. This is a full-time opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidate. 

No two days are the same — one moment you’ll be allocating vehicles to maximise payloads; the next, you’ll be supporting drivers, reviewing reports, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every movement complies with operational and safety requirements. The work requires sharp judgement, strong coordination skills and the ability to stay calm when priorities shift without warning — because in transport, they often do. 

You will:

• Allocate transport resources accurately and efficiently to maximise payloads and achieve strong commercial outcomes.
  
• Support operational reporting, driver training coordination, and compliance activities that keep our operations running smoothly.
  
• Build strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal teams — because great communication keeps freight moving and people safe.
  
• Assist the Transport Manager with HR, safety and performance processes that drive continual improvement.

Are you the one?

You’re someone who thrives in a dynamic operational environment and communicates clearly with people at all levels. You have a background in transport scheduling or coordination and understand the importance of compliance, load planning and customer service in a busy freight operation.

You will also bring:

• Strong understanding of general freight operations, including load restraints and basic warehousing processes.
  
• Working knowledge of Australian transport rules and regulations.
  
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy.
  
• A proactive mindset and a commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
