What does the job look like?
This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality inductions, training and competency assessments for Linfox employees, agency staff and contractors. You will help maintain a safe, skilled and compliant workforce by delivering practical and theory-based training across a range of heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Deliver practical training, theory‑based instruction and assessments across heavy vehicles
- Carry out heavy vehicle and HRW licence training, assessment and administrative duties in full compliance with regulator standards
- Implement training solutions and contribute to developing and updating training and assessment resources.
- Maintain accurate training records, safety observations and equipment inspections to support safety and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve training or service issues, escalating unresolved matters to Operational Training and Site Management
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, Linfox policies and Linfox Operational Training (LOT) procedures
Are you the one?
You will succeed in this role if you are an experienced operator who is passionate about developing others, committed to safety and confident delivering training across a variety of environments and equipment types.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded)
- Current Multi‑Combination licence
- 4 - 5 years of operational experience in driving operations
- Strong understanding of Operational Training procedures and the NVR Standards
- Capability to deliver heavy vehicle and High Risk Work (HRW) licence training, with assessor experience viewed favourably
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
