What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal business unit have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced counterbalance forklift operator to join our Warehouse team in Cairns, QLD. In your new role you’ll support our cross-dock and logistics operations, including loading and unloading trucks and containers, manual handling, and general warehouse duties.

This is a day shift opportunity, working Monday - Friday commencing at 8:00am - 4:00pm + available overtime.

Key areas: 

• Operating counterbalance forklifts to load and unload trucks and/or containers
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
• Operate independently and contribute actively as a team member
• Participate in manual handling duties as required

• Current High-Risk LF license 
• 2 years of experience operating a counterbalance forklift within Transport/Logistics industry 
• History of safe work practices
• Responsible manual handling experience

• Proactive approach and positive attitude
