What does the job look like?

The Operational Analyst supports the C&HG Network Transport portfolio through high‑quality commercial, operational, and administrative analysis. You will deliver structured reporting, maintain analytical systems and processes, and turn complex data into insights that improve performance, efficiency, and cost outcomes across the operation.

Key areas:

• Develop and maintain KPIs aligned to contractual and customer reporting requirements
• Collect, analyse, and report on operational and financial data to identify trends and performance drivers
• Coordinate and deliver accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Review workflows and reporting processes to drive efficiency and cost optimisation
• Manage analytical tools, system documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to implement data‑led improvements

Are you the one?

You are a commercially minded, detail‑focused analyst who enjoys combining data analysis with structured administrative support to drive better decisions. You are comfortable working across departments, supporting governance and systems, and influencing outcomes through evidence‑based insights.

You can demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Supply Chain (highly regarded)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including complex analysis and reporting (essential)
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and/or SQL (highly regarded)
• Proven experience delivering operational and financial reporting in large‑scale environments
• Strong capability in process improvement, documentation, and system governance
• Exposure to transport, logistics, or network transport environments (desirable)
