What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business has an opportunity for a HR driver to join our team located in Cairns QLD. In this role you will be delivering a variety of products to our local customers. We currently have a casual opportunity available on day shift, working Monday to Friday starting anywhere between 5:00am - 7:00am and finishing between 1:00pm - 3:00pm + potential overtime. Key Areas:

• Driving to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Available to work a consistent roster Monday to Friday on day shift
• Completing correct load restraints and manual handling techniques
• Ability to work & communicate effectively with team members, managers & customers on a day-to-day basis
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation

• Current and valid HR license and previous experience operating a Heavy Rigid vehicle
• Current and valid LF license is highly desired
• History of safe work practices
• Familiarity with Cairns metro and surrounding area
• Responsible manual handling experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
