What does the job look like?

Linfox's Intermodal business unit have a full time permanent opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our team in Kewdale, WA. This opportunity acts as the key link between Linfox and its customers, ensuring service delivery meets contractual, safety and commercial expectations while driving retention and growth. You will work closely with operations and customers to strengthen relationships, optimise performance and support continuous improvement outcomes. Key areas:
  • Lead customer performance management including KPIs, reviews, reporting and commercial outcomes
  • Manage customer relationships to drive retention, satisfaction and service performance outcomes
  • Deliver growth strategies for existing accounts through tendering, pricing and customer presentations
  • Conduct financial analysis to optimise revenue, profitability and cost-to-serve outcomes
  • Review and establish customer contracts and transport agreements in line with requirements
  • Support operational teams to meet customer KPIs and resolve service-related issues

Are you the one?

You are an experienced account manager with a strong customer-facing focus, capable of building relationships, understanding operational environments and driving commercial outcomes within a transport or logistics setting. You can demonstrate:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer engagement or account management role or within the Transport/Logistics or supply chain industry would be highly regarded 
  • Proven ability to manage both medium and large customer accounts and deliver retention and growth outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen, including revenue models, cost-to-serve and P&L understanding
  • Experience developing, implementing and managing contracts or service agreements
  • Ability to analyse data and deliver customer reports, presentations and insights
  • Knowledge of transport and logistics operations and broader market dynamics
