What does the job look like?
Linfox have an opportunity for an experienced HR Driver to join our Rail Operations team in Mackay, QLD. In this role, you'll safely deliver palletised freight to local customers across the Mackay metropolitan area while providing outstanding customer service and representing the Linfox brand with pride.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm, with a rotating Saturday morning roster, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons while maintaining a great work-life balance. Key areas:
- Safely delivering palletised freight to customers throughout the Mackay metropolitan area
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to Linfox safety standards and our Vision Zero philosophy
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and road transport legislation
- Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and completing all required documentation
- Representing Linfox professionally in all customer and workplace interactions
Are you the one?
We're looking for a motivated and safety-focused driver who enjoys working independently and delivering excellent service. You will be able to demonstrate:
- Current HR Licence
- LF Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of the Mackay metropolitan area
- A proven commitment to safe work practices and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
