About the Role
We’re seeking a Service Advisor – Resources & Industrial to join our dynamic Fleet team based in Perth. This is a pivotal role supporting our Resources & Industrial operations across the Pilbara, coordinating maintenance activities for our workshops in Newman and Port Hedland.
Reporting to the State Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating service schedules, booking maintenance activities, and ensuring our fleet remains compliant, reliable, and available to support critical mining operations. Working closely with workshop teams, operations personnel, and service providers, you’ll play a key role in keeping our assets moving safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating preventative maintenance schedules for the Newman and Port Hedland workshops
- Booking vehicles and equipment for servicing, repairs, inspections, and compliance activities
- Liaising with workshop personnel, operational stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure maintenance requirements are met
- Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Monitoring fleet maintenance activities and ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes
- Supporting workshop planning and prioritising maintenance activities based on operational requirements and fleet availability

Whether you come from a fleet maintenance, service advisory, transport, mining, or heavy vehicle background, you'll bring strong coordination skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Fleet Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, or similar role
- Exposure to heavy vehicle, mining, earthmoving, or transport maintenance environments
- Strong administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience highly regarded
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and delivering outstanding customer service
