Full time, Driver (HR, HC, MC)

Full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced HC Driver to join our Emerald operations on a day shift, Mon - Fri commencing at 6am

As part of a highly coordinated, large-scale operation, you’ll move freight more efficiently across the country, delivering for major Australian businesses.

What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermoda has an opportunity for an experienced HC Driver to join our Emerald operation on a permanent full-time basis. This opportunity offers a mix of local and regional driving, transporting palletised freight across Emerald and surrounding areas, with regional runs approximately twice per week.

Working Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm, with reasonable overtime available, this is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for variety and consistency in their working week. Key areas: 

  • Safely operating HC vehicles in accordance with Linfox's safety standards and Vision Zero commitment
  • Completing both local and regional deliveries of palletised freight across Emerald and surrounding areas
  • Loading and unloading freight and containers using forklifts and safe manual handling techniques
  • Ensuring safe load restraint practices and compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Building positive working relationships with customers, drivers and operational teams
  • Complete all pre-trip requirements and vehicle safety checks, identifying and reporting any issues before commencing work

Are you the one?

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused and experienced HC Driver with a positive attitude and pride in delivering a high standard of service. You can demonstrate: 
  • A current and valid HC licence with experience operating Heavy Combination vehicles 
  • A current LF forklift licence
  • A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
  • Experience loading, unloading and handling palletised freight
  • Sound knowledge of Emerald and surrounding regional areas
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
